We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our E-Voting platform. When you join our online platform, you provide us with your contact information, including email address. We use this information with personal specific id generated for you during the registration process. The camera here in this application is used with QR code or barcode reader to scan the voting ID required during the voting process. During the registration process these are stored in the database. During voting camera is used to scan the QR or Bar code, you are allowed to choose you party and cast your vote. The QR or Barcode scanned is used to validate you as a registered electorate and then given access to cast your vote. This scanning helps us to prevent un authorized persons from voting. This is the main objectives of this design. Data collected from our app users are meant for this purpose only. The information we obtain from Electorates or voters get to our server through the IKANIEVOTINGCOREAPPARATUSPRES Android App, these include QR or Barcode information i.e voters id, Surname, othernames, BVN, phone number, email, state of origin, local govt area, ward and Senatorial district. This is what is required during the registration process. Though the general public will download the IKANIEVOTINGCOREAPPARATUSPRES App, their access to results page are unlimited to visiting the site. On the result site only parties voted fro and counts are displayed. Due to the privacy of our users, their personal data are not displayed and are kept private from the public. Check the result site at https://www.ikani.com.ng/evoting/panpanalytics.php. The data capture are restricted to individual who wants to use the platform to carry out their voting franchise. And the android they operate for the data logging of the aforementioned data is the property of IKANI Reg. trade mark.

The E-voting information taken are encrypted and stored in a secured database on-line. Data capture registration is done using the internet. If you are located outside Nigeria and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Nigeria and process it there.
